How do you install?
It is easier than ever to install a Minecraft skin. It is important to remember that this only works on Minecraft’s Java Version. The Bedrock Edition does not currently have a way to install custom Skins. To install the skin, simply use the image below and follow the instructions. For simplicity, the instructions have been color-coded.
- Step 1 (Yellow Arrow), To navigate to Skins in the Minecraft Client click on the Skins tab.
- Step 2 (Red Arrow), Click New Skin in the Skins tab to open the page that allows you to import a skin.
- Step Three (Blue Arrow), Click Browse on the New Skin Page to Open the File Explorer.
- Step 4 (Green Arrow), Navigate to the folder containing the skin file in the file explorer (usually in the Download folder). Double-click it to choose it.
Once you’ve done that, click Save & Use to finish importing it to your game and use it as your skin!
